Build Africa is an award-winning charity fighting poverty in rural communities. We work with vulnerable people across Africa to create positive change – helping children get a better education, and parents to earn a secure living – so that together we can find long-term solutions to inequality.

In 2016 we want to help more people than ever, and we’re looking for a dedicated Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to help us deliver our work. If you’re passionate about beating poverty, join Build Africa to help make it happen.

The successful candidate will lead on developing and implementing our Corporate Partnerships strategy with a view to identifying and securing significant new high-value multi-year partnerships, as well as providing excellent account management across a range of existing relationships.

The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will have a new business focus; generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline, developing relationships, pitching and securing partnerships which deliver substantial fundraising income as well as brand benefits. In addition the successful candidate will secure sponsorship for events and cross-sell other financial and non-financial offers while ensuring that we maximise the value of existing relationships.

You will bring with you extensive experience of growing and managing a corporate fundraising programme with a track record of securing six-figure, multi-year partnerships. You will also have excellent insight into partnership needs, ideally having worked in a corporate environment.

If you can pitch confidently and produce creative proposals, enjoy researching and opening doors to potential opportunities, are adept at developing beneficial relationships and are driven by striving for targets then we are keen to hear from you.

This position is offered on a full time contract and will be based in our Tunbridge Wells office. Working from home a proportion of the time will be considered as will a degree of flexitime. Build Africa will also offer a 6% pension contribution in addition to salary.

If you are up to the challenge and are ready to work in a supportive and creative team, then we look forward to hearing from you.
